Ed Lyon's repertoire spans 500 years - from Monteverdi, George Frideric Handel, Rameau and Lully, through Haydn and Mozart to Berlioz, Strauss, Igor Stravinsky, Benjamin Britten, and late 20th century composers. Highlights have included Monteverdi'sOrfeo, Hyllus in G.F. Handel's Hercules, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Lully's Atys, Rameau's Pigmalion, Tom in I. Stravinsky'sThe Rake's Progress and Freddy in My Fair Lady.
Future projects include Hylas in Les Troyens at The Royal Opera House, Colin in L'Ecume des Jours in Stuttgart, Hyppolite inHyppolite et Aricie at Glyndebourne and Telemaco in Il Ritorno d'Ulisse for Opera National de Paris. Concerts include J.S. Bach's B Minor Mass (BWV 232) with Harry Bicket and The English Concert in the Proms and G.F. Handel's Alexander's Feastin Utrecht.
Recent CD releases include G.F. Handel’s Alexander’s Feast with Ludus Baroque and Grandi’s Vespers with Bach-Collegium Stuttgart.
