Anna Yuryevna Netrebko Soprano sings 'Quando m'en vo' La Boheme

Yuryevna Netrebko was born in Krasnodar Russia on September 18, 1971. Her
family were Kuban Cossacks. While a student at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory,
she worked as a janitor at Saint Petersburg's Mariinsky Theater. She later
auditioned for the Mariinsky where conductor Valery Gergiev recognized her from
her prior work in the theater. He eventually became her vocal mentor. She holds
dual Russian and Austrian citizenship and resides in Vienna, Austria, and New
York City. She is a frequent guest of the Metropolitan Opera, Vienna State
Opera, Mariinsky Theatre, and the Royal Opera in London. The information was
